Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals
Danbury Local Schools is always in need of substitute teachers and is now accepting applications. This is an on call, as needed position to make sure that quality education, effective classroom management, and school policy and procedures continue in the absence of the assigned classroom teacher. Pay for substitute teachers is $115.00 per day.

Danbury Local Schools is always in need of substitute paraprofessionals and is now accepting applications. This is an on call, as needed position to assist teachers with individual student needs served by special education, within the general education setting, and in the absence of the regular paraprofessional. Pay for substitute paraprofessionals is $13.00 per hour.

Classified Substitutes

Danbury Local School District is always looking for individuals to expand our list of qualified substitutes for the cafeteria, custodial and bus drivers. Substitutes fill in for vacations and sick leave. At times part-time and full-time positions do become available and positions can be filled from the sub list. High school diploma or equivalency certificate required. Training and experience desired but not required. All applicants must pass an FBI/BCI background check. Substitute bus drivers must be capable of passing a DOT physical and drug screening.
